Maryse has been drawn to drawing ever since childhood. Much later, about ten years ago, she decided to move on to color, which led her to watercolor. It was love at first sight. She loves the transparency and softness of watercolor, of course, but above all its relationship with water, which one never fully masters and which leaves room for surprise in the final result. Her subjects are eclectic. She has no real preference, as long as she finds an atmospheric mood in her paintings.
