Self-taught and passionate for fifteen years, Jean-Luc travels through his paintings across the landscapes of Provence and other horizons, guided by the light, the colors and the emotions they awaken in him. Watercolor lets him capture these moments of light spontaneously and render their nuances with sensitivity. Provence is a land of contrasts and extremes. A land of light, its colors enchant him and endlessly nourish his eye. A lifetime, he says, would not be enough to paint its beauty, at once radiant and singular.
