Andrea Sargeant

Andrea Sargeant is an Anglo-Italian artist who lives and paints in Tuscany. A graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, she worked in fashion and interior design before developing her watercolor technique in Milan, at the Accademia Ettore Maiotti. She paints large works, often en plein air and often as triptychs, with a deliberately limited palette: for her, the triptych follows the way we experience nature, as a sequence of moments rather than a single fixed view. A finalist in the Royal Watercolour Society competition and many others, she exhibits regularly in Italy and is represented by galleries internationally. Her triptych Twilight was acquired in 2025 for the permanent exhibition of the Watercolour Biennale in Portugal. Her next solo exhibition, Anima Mundi Pax, will take place in Lucca in 2027.
